Both steelmaking and ironmaking are carried out by oxidation-reduction reaction, but there are great differences between them in reaction objects: ironmaking is to reduce iron, while application of 09CuPTiRE-B steelmaking is to remove excessive carbon and other impurities in pig iron, so there are relations and differences between them in actual operation. There are three main methods of application of 09CuPTiRE-B steelmaking: converter, electric furnace and flat furnace. The converter steelmaking process is most widely used.

We have lots of successful cases, for example in July 2015, we exported 5714 tons ASTM A36 mild steel plate to Peru. After receiving the plates and putting then into use, our customer spoke highly of the ASTM A36 mild steel plate quality. In addition, the customer also introduced us an Venezuela customer, who bought 933 tons A36 steel application of 09CuPTiRE-B plate from us. And then in Mar. 2016, due to the first cooperation in July 2015 is very successful. The customer is very satisfied with our product quality and comprehensive service. This time, the customer place an 3989 tons order directly.

The yield strength of application of 09CuPTiRE-B, Q235 steel plate decreases with the increase of thickness. Q235 steel plate thickness≤16mm, yield strength is 235MPA; 16mm < Q235 steel plate thickness≤40mm, yield strength is 225MPA; 40mm < Q235 steel plate thickness≤60mm, yield strength is 215MPA; 60mm < Q235 steel plate thickness≤100mm, yield strength is 205MPA; 100mm < Q235 steel plate thickness≤150mm, yield strength is 195MPA; 150mm < Q235 steel plate thickness≤200mm, yield strength is 185MPA.
