London Export 09CuPCrNi-B steel equivalent 200Tons
Weathering steel plate refers to the low alloy structural steel with protective rust layer and atmospheric corrosion resistance, which can be used to manufacture steel structures such as vehicles, bridges, towers, containers, etc. Compared with 09CUPCRNI-B steel equivalent, ordinary carbon steel, weathering steel has better corrosion resistance in the atmosphere. Compared with stainless steel, weathering steel has only a small amount of alloy elements, such as phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, titanium and so on. The total amount of alloy elements only accounts for a few percent, instead of more than 10 percent as stainless steel, so the weathering steel price is relatively low.
Our main specifications of medium and heavy plates are thickness 6.0-180mm and width 1400-2700mm. In addition, the ship steel plate has been approved by the factories of the eight-nation classification society such as CCS, ABS, BV, LR, GL, NK, KR, and DNV. Our 09CUPCRNI-B steel equivalent, medium and heavy plates are widely used in manufacturing, logistics, and automotive industries such as construction machinery, mold processing, ships, bridges, high-rise buildings, pipeline transportation, automobile girders, automobile bridge shells, and pressure vessels.
Last week (November 7~November 13), the price of imported iron ore increased overall. The price of external disks rose rapidly, and fell slightly towards the end of last week, and the spot price of the port increased. The price increase of iron ore is more driven by the price increase in the steel market. From the perspective of iron ore fundamentals, iron ore inventories in major ports continue to rise rapidly, steel mills are generally willing to purchase, and it is difficult for prices to continue to rise.
"As Covid 19 spreads around the world, all unnecessary businesses and factories have been closed in Italy this week. South Korea's POSCO, the world's fifth-largest steelmaker, announced on March 24th that it would close its 09CUPCRNI-B steel equivalent wire-processing centre near the northern Italian city of Verona from Thursday March 26th until April 3rd. POSCO has already closed two wire-processing centres in Delhi and Pune. Two wire processing centers in Malaysia and Thailand also announced last week that they will be closed until March 31."
