Test method for hardness of 05CuPCrNi steel pipe

Quenching and tempering (QT) is a double heat treatment process of quenching and high temperature tempering. In general, medium carbon steel and medium 05CUPCRNI steel pipe carbon alloy steel often need quenching and tempering treatment. Quenching and tempering can make iron and steel parts obtain a good combination of strength and toughness, with high strength, excellent toughness, plasticity, cutting performance, etc. Some 05CUPCRNI steel pipe alloy steel or low alloy steel must be quenched and tempered to obtain good comprehensive properties. These steels can also be called quenched and tempered steels.

After extrusion, the 05CUPCRNI steel pipe tube shall be removed for sizing. The sizing machine uses a cone-shaped bit to rotate into the steel embryo at high speed to drill holes to form steel pipes. The inner diameter of the steel pipe is determined by the outer diameter length of the drill bit of the sizing machine. After sizing, the steel pipe will enter the cooling tower and be cooled by water spray. After cooling, the steel pipe will be straightened. After straightening, the steel pipe is sent to the metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) by the conveyor belt for internal flaw detection.

India's Ministry of 05CUPCRNI steel pipe steel has extended the deadline for steel product certification from April 23 to three months as the Bureau of standards (BIS) has closed factories and laboratories due to the current blockade and travel ban. According to the order of the Ministry of Commerce, "the implementation date of the following Indian Standards is extended for three months after April 23, according to the notice of the order for 05CUPCRNI steel pipe steel products 2000."

Corrosion resistant steel is a kind of steel which can resist corrosion in air or weak medium and other strong corrosive medium. Corrosion resistant steel is also a kind of stainless steel.
