Whether 09CuPCrNi-A chemical composition need preheating

Compared with 09CuPCrNi-A chemical composition, boiler steel plates should have the following properties: (1) High medium temperature strength: low and medium pressure boiler drums use steel with a lower yield point, high pressure boilers use steel with a high yield point. (2) Good plasticity, impact toughness, cold bending and welding performance. (3) The notch sensitivity is small, that is, the sensitivity to the stress concentration caused by the opening of the steel plate surface and the welding of the pipe head is small.

EN 10025-2 steel includes S235 steel (S235JR, S235J0, S235J2), S275 steel (S275JR, S275J0, S275J2), S355 steel (S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S355K2), S450 steel (S450J0). According to EN 10025-2, the thickness of S450J0 plate is within 3-150mm. The 09CuPCrNi-A chemical composition, S235 steel, S275 steel and S355 steel plate thickness is ≤250mm. However, the S235J2, S275J2, S355J2 and S355K2 plates limitation is ≤400mm.
