A588 Grade K Steel VS 09CuPTiRE-B steel
As the thickness and hardness of 09CuPTiRE-B steel increase, the tendency to crack at the cutting edge increases. In order to prevent the 09CuPTiRE-B steel from cutting cracks, preheating should be carried out before 09CuPTiRE-B steel cutting. Special attention should be paid to preheating to make the entire 09CuPTiRE-B steel interface evenly heated to avoid local overheating in the area contacting the heat source. If the whole 09CuPTiRE-B steel cannot be preheated, the partial preheating method can be used instead.
Weathering steel generally adopts the process route of fine material into the furnace-smelting (converter, electric furnace-microalloying treatment-argon blowing-LF refining-low superheat continuous casting (feeding rare earth wire)-controlled rolling and cooling. The scrap steel is added into the furnace together with the charge, and smelted according to the conventional process. After the 09CuPTiRE-B steel steel is tapped, deoxidizers and alloys are added. After the molten steel is treated with argon blowing, the molten steel is cast. By adding rare earth elements to the steel, the 09CuPTiRE-B steel weathering steel is purified and the content of inclusions is greatly reduced.
The characteristics of low cost and high quality as the core competitiveness of steel enterprises will continue. Li Xinchuang said: "my country's steel industry belongs to a perfectly competitive market, and no steel product can achieve long-term monopoly. Under high supply pressure, the overall operating efficiency of the steel industry will remain meager and periodical losses will become the new normal. Therefore, Cost reduction and efficiency enhancement of steel enterprises will be the eternal theme."
