On October 16, 2019, the Board of Directors of the World Steel Association (worldsteel) elected the following new officers for 2019/2020 at the worldsteel General Assembly in Monterrey. The new 09CuPTiRE-B steel grade officers are elected for a one-year period: Chairman - YU Yong, Chairman, HBIS Group Co., Ltd. Vice Chairman - Sajjan JINDAL, Chairman and Managing Director, JSW Steel Limited.

When phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel and other trace elements are added to the weathering steel sheet, a dense and strong adhesion protective film will be formed on the steel surface, which will hinder the corrosion from spreading and developing inside, and protect the substrate under the rust layer, so as to slow down the corrosion rate. That is why the weathering steel sheet, 09CuPTiRE-B steel grade has good atmosphere corrosion resistance.
