The SA 516 grade 60 steel is remarkably one of the standard steel grades having five chemical elements that are specified with the three mechanical properties. Composition of low alloy steel plate: Low carbon: due to the high requirements for toughness, weldability and cold formability of low alloy steel plate, the carbon content is not more than 0.20%; manganese is added; the auxiliary elements such as niobium, titanium or vanadium are added; a small amount of niobium, titanium or vanadium forms fine carbide or carbonitride in the steel, which is conducive to obtaining fine ferrite grains and improving the strength and toughness of low alloy steel plate; in addition, The corrosion resistance of material of 09CuPCrNi-A, low alloy steel plate can be improved by adding a small amount of copper (< 0.4%) and phosphorus (about 0.1%).

BBN steel had provided Grind plates for more than 15 years for widely applied in equipment, Engineer machinery etc. In 2018, one of our India customer visit our material of 09CuPCrNi-A office and work shop to discuss Q235B Grind plate technical request, they have strict surface and thickness tolerance, and they also request UT and MT for testing. As a result, they purchase material of 09CuPCrNi-A 179 tons as trial order for first cooperation. And have good comment on our quality. Till now, we keep exporting around 100 tons per month as regularly.
