316 Vs 304: ASTM 316L(1.4404) is a low-carbon austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel. Due to the addition of 2-2.5% molybdenum, the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel 316L is significantly better than that of the standard austenitic grades 304 and 304L, 09CUPCRNI-B steel tube. The 1.4404 material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion when welded! but not resistant to sea water. Best corrosion resistance is given with a polished surface. This material is comparable to 1.4401.

In 2013, one of our clients in Korea purchased 890 tons Q345B square tube from us for one building construction project. Our clients required no burr in the side of the tube, we finally produce the goods with great condition and +/-0.25mm tolerance for wall thickness, which is a very great tolerance with customers’ required size. Our square tube full available range is 2-16mm for wall thickness, and 40-500mm for width. In addition, our Q/C department will seriously control all of the process of every order.
