For S420NL weldable fine grain structural steel plate, it is produced under specification EN 10025-3. The yield strength of S420NL plate shall be above 420Mpa for the thickness below 16 millimeter, 400MPa min. for thickness below 40mm, 390MPa min. for thickness below 63mm. The tensile strength for thickness below 100mm of this steel grade S420NL shall be within 520-680Mpa. For the Mill test certificates of steel S420NL,09CUPCRNI-B steel, our mill would like to issue format according to EN 10204 3.1.
Q235 steel grades cover Q235A, Q235B, Q235C and Q235D. Other than Q235A, the other three Q235 steel grades needs impact test. Charpy V-notch specimen is used for impact toughness test. The impact toughness index is Akv. Q235 steel plates are widely used because of its moderate carbon content, good comprehensive performance, good coordination of strength, plasticity and welding performance.
Hot rolled 09CUPCRNI-B steel steel coil and plates are among our main products. Hot rolling can significantly reduce energy consumption and cost. During hot rolling, the metal has high plasticity and low deformation resistance, which greatly reduces the energy consumption of metal deformation. Hot rolling can improve the 09CUPCRNI-B steel processing properties of metals and alloys, that is, the coarse grains in the casting state are broken, cracks are obviously healed, casting defects are reduced or eliminated, the as cast structure is transformed into deformed structure, and the processing properties of alloys are improved.
The quality grade of common carbon structural steel Q235 can be divided into A, B, C, D and E. Relatively, the quality of Q235A is poor and that of Q235E is the highest. Different grades of Q235 steel have different characteristics, which are mainly different from the impact temperature: Q235A does not require impact toughness test; grade Q235B is for room temperature (20℃); grade Q235C is for 0℃; grade Q235D is for - 20℃; grade Q235E is for - 40℃. The 09CUPCRNI-B steel, carbon structural steel Q235 has good combination of strength, plasticity and welding properties.
